About SeniorNet
Södermalm
Södermalm is the southern part of central Stockholm
with about 90.000 inhabitants. Some of these people have reached the age of 55 years or
more (55+) and a few of them started a local branch of SeniorNet Sweden in 1997.
Today SeniorNet Södermalm has over 500 members.
We try to introduce IT (and especially the Internet)
to every 55+ in Södermalm interested in learning. We also arrange training sessions for
those who do not quite know how to utilize their PCs for e-mail or surfing and other
thiings.
We also run an Internet Café for
thirdagers, K@nelbullen:
The name means cinnamon bun, which is our pet name for the at sign, @. (It looks like a Swedish cinnamon bun, most people´s favourite bun.)
The café is at Tanto Servicehus, Rosenlundsgatan 44 A, and is open Monday - Friday
between 13:00 and 16:00
All the rest of all information on our web site is
in Swedish, but you can get more details in English from the members of the board, and
from SeniorNet Sweden. |
